Matt was educated at St. Joseph’s and Deakin University in Geelong achieving Bachelor of Commerce and commenced employment as a Public Practice Accountant in Ballarat in 1998 later joining BW Advisers as a CPA in 2004. Matt is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Petstock Australia and has been instrumental in establishing and structuring the business to be a leading retailer in Australia and New Zealand with over 200 sites. His expertise is in business management and structuring business for growth and expansion and has significant expertise and experience in franchising and acquisitions. As a partner at BW Advisers, Matt’sexpertise lies in advising small to medium businesses in respect of day-to-day financial matters, management systems and reporting as well as income tax structuring and strategy.He prides himself on developing strong working relationships with his clients, through which he is able to assist them in navigating the often-complex world of running and growing a business. In his rare downtime, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, running and eating Scones.
