Educated at Ballarat Clarendon College and Ballarat University achieving Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Economics, Chris commenced employment as an Accountant with what is now BW Advisers in 1995. Over his career Chris has become the trusted adviser for many of his longstanding clients, and is often their first call when they need guidance on all things business related. He is passionate about small business and farming related enterprises, and prides himself on providing specialised and timely advice to his clients. Chris’ expertise lies in advising trades, small business and farming families in respect of day-to-day financial matters and income tax structuring and strategy. He is committed to ensuring business success by removing the impediments of taxation compliance and management to free up time so clients can focus on what they do best. When not at work Chris is often managing his family farm, spending quality time with his wife and two children, or cheering on Clunes during the football season where he is heavily involved in both the local community and the club itself as a longstanding committee member and in his current role as Vice President.
